Getting registered

Getting a user account on UKRag is generally a great idea because it allows you to use and access much more of the site that you can lurking as a guest.

Requirements

To register you need a couple of things

• A username that you'll use to login
• An email address (that works)
• A password that's secret, that you can remember and that you don't use for any other sites like online banking, etc..

Completing the Registration form

1. Go to the registration page
2. Check through the terms and conditions
3. Click on the appropriate link to denote your age/responsibility
4. Fill out the Registration Information as requested
   
5. When the form has been completed you just click submit
   
6. Any errors will need to be resolved before you can continue
   

You'll note the registration form includes very little information at this point. We've simplified it to get the absolute minimum and make the process a lot less tiresome. When you've completed the registration process you'll be able to login and add additional information using the "profile" link.

Activating your account

Once you've completed the process you'll need to access your email account to get an activation link or code. This is used to confirm that your account is genuine and that you can receive emails.

1. Open your email account and locate the email from UKRag
2. Find the "Activation" link and either click it or copy paste into your web browser address bar
3. If the link is incomplete you will be given the option to supply the activation code manually (this is provided near the bottom of your activation email)

Once activation is complete you're ready to login
