Viewing the calendar - a few tips

The calendar on UKRag is pretty simple and this is just a few pointers on how to find what you want quickly.

Views

There are 4 view types in the Calendar:

• Monthly (default)
• Yearly -
• Weekly - / 'W' in yearly view
• Daily - (click the day you want to view)

Filters

If you check the bottom right of any calendar view you will see a drop down selection box marked: "View only..." with a selection of categories to choose from.

Choosing a category will allow you to filter out all other types of calendar event and show only those that have been entered under your chosen category.

Printable version

At present only the month view provides a printable version of the display but views will be updated to include a printable version in the future. In truth it's possible to print any view but black on white is generally easier to read.

Jump to..

The Jump to selector in the bottom left of the month and week views will allow you to jump to any month you select quickly.. The same "Jump to.." box in the year view will display a year view starting at the month you specified.

Searching?

Unfortunately, at the moment the calendar does not have a search page to allow you to look for specific events but this will be included in the future.
